"J&E Tutoring and Translation Services is a life saver! I'm regularly a student at SMU in Dallas TX, but taking courses at SDSU in San Diego CA as a visiting student this semester. After searching endlessly online for a local tutor that could accommodate collegiate level Accounting, I came up with only a handful. Upon getting a few return calls and emails from other tutors, I quickly realized that finding one who could and would work around my schedule was near impossible. Thank goodness one of my emails reached Joseph at J&E Tutoring and Translation Services! I have to admit I was reluctant to try 'webcam' tutoring. When I've needed tutoring in other courses, I had always met with my tutor face to face. In retrospect, it had never occurred to me what a distraction it was to arrange meetings at a library, or Starbucks, or even the tutor's house until I began tutoring online. I can't think of a better (nor more convenient) place to learn than from the comfort of my own home while sitting at my own desk! The fact is, with free time becoming more and more sparse, the practicality of being able to meet at any time and in any place where you have online access could come in exceptionally handy in any number of situations. J&E challenged me to give it a shot. Before we met I simply emailed them the course syllabus. When I logged on, we briefly chatted about course material I needed to cover, then they turned the high-resolution webcam to his paper and pen and I worked along with Joseph through notes and example problems. He might as well have been in person, it was that easy. Even without the added utility of meeting online, J&E's services deserve the highest commendation for their professionalism, knowledge on the subject matter, and their devotion to your success as a student.
